Built for the drying of newly-washed and dried yarn, the historic Round Tower provides a direct link between Black Swan Arts and Frome’s central role in the development of the region’s woollen industry.

Located in the very centre of the town, directly opposite the main car park, the building’s unique circular shape lends itself to a wide and diverse range of uses, from exhibitions and photo-shoots, to pop-up shop and gallery.

Walking in from the landscaped courtyard garden, you are met with the stone walls and original flagstones of the ground floor space.  From there, up the curved wooden staircase, you arrive at the first floor which is flooded with light from the ceiling-height windows and conical glass roof lantern.

This one-of-a-kind space is the ideal location for displaying art, sculpture, ceramics and textiles and would be perfect for private parties and events.
