The exhibition features six Frome based artists. Including veterans of the Frome arts scene; Amy Yates, Suzanne Woodward, Sabine Abraham and Rosie Hart (Black Swan Arts Trustee). They have joined forces with two artists who are newer to the scene; Sue Willis and Rebecca Sandey.

Amy Yates is well known for her colourful semi-abstract townscapes. Her paintings feature; Frome, Radstock, Bath, Shaftesbury and beyond.

Suzanne Woodward’s images are inspired by mythology,folklore and memories. They have a dreamlike quality often featuring creatures alongside humans.

Sabine Abraham sees beauty where others may overlook it. Her paintings frequently feature machines alongside nature in a powerful juxtaposition.

Rosie Hart draws on scenes from science fiction and alternative culture. Choosing subjects such as apocalypse and UFO sightings.

Sue Willis creates vibrant motifs based on natural forms using pen, ink and silk.

Rebecca Sandey is a nature lover and creates images of birds in watercolour paying careful detail to each species.

You can enjoy a variety of different mediums, including; watercolour, oils, silk paint, acrylics, pencil, inks and more. Each artist has smaller items on sale including prints, cards, goth moths, funky hats and textiles for the smaller budget or for a gift. You can also purchase an original piece from a local, independent maker.
